Share |

The UK-based Gallipoli Centenary Education Project is holding a national conference for schools in Birmingham on March 14th 2016.

A limited number of places are available without charge for secondary schools - up to two students and a teacher per school.

The programme includes presentations by students who've visited the First World War battlefields of Gallipoli for the project.

A 16-year-old guest speaker from Australia will talk about the significance of Gallipoli for Australians.

The Gallipoli Centenary Project says: "If your school or museum has been learning about Gallipoli, this conference will offer some practical and thought-provoking ideas on how to study this complex area of our history".
