'Your Country Needs You': The First World War poster that "was never used for official recruitment"

An article in The Telegraph highlights research into the poster of Lord Kitchener telling men 'Your Country Needs You', which "never existed".

Research into the image shows that it "was never used for official recruitment purposes. In fact, it only became popular and widely-used after the conflict ended".
