Brussels is dedicating 4.4 million euro to commemorating the centenary

Télé Bruxelles reports that Brussels is dedicating over 4 million euro to commemorating the centenary of the First World War during the period 2014-2018. The centenary period will be marked by three major events and the 19 communes in the Brussels region will all partake during the four years. For instance, a play focusing on the occupation of Brussels will be put on at the Cinquantenaire Park (Montgomery, Brussels) in 2015.
