The Federal Archives of Switzerland and Wikimedia will collaborate to make thousands of digital photographs from the First World War available to the public in time for the Centenary.

The project is part of a wider undertaking between the Federal Archives of Switzerland and Wikimedia, as they review source material from the Swiss Federal Archives and aim to develop "freely usable, “public domain” source materials from the Federal Archives holdings online via Wikimedia".
