Europeana 1914-1918 is collecting materials from across Europe related to the First World War to mark the Centenary of the conflict.

The project is travelling to countries around Europe and inviting people to bring objects such as diaries, letters and postcards from the First World War to be documented.

A full timetable of dates when Europeana 1914-1918 will be visiting countries is available of the website.

The public is also invited to add stories and anecdotes about the First World War to the "online story collection".

Users are able to explore stories and objects which have been submitted via an online exhibition.
