To mark the Centenary of the First World War, The Bermuda Sun is exploring the impact the conflict had on Bermuda as part of the British Empire.

The paper explores how the "battle for Europe" cost the lives of some 500 Bermudians. Other topics discussed include how German prisoners of war were sent to the islands.
